Off to Leeds

Tomorrow I'm heading to Berlin to catch a flight to Manchester on Friday morning (leaving at o dark thirty in the morning *groansatthoughtofgettingupforthat*). From Manchester it'll be onward to Leeds by train. And then...the Highlander World Wide Call to Arms Convention. The Four Horsemen (well almost, Valentine has a theatre job in Australia of all places), the Highlander, half the Powers that be....
I imagine it's going to be veeeerrrry much fun.
Just wish me luck that all works out as planned (flights going when they are supposed to and such), would you please?

Time permitting I'll probably also browse the shops for my current (yes it still is) Bollywood addiction. Maybe I'll even get me some DVDs. Depends on the prices and what's available of course.

I promise a detailed report(I'll give my best anyway) when I return.

Yep, decided to go on a whim - I've loved highlander from afar but haven't really participated in fandom. I'm a bit nervous because I'm going on my own.

I'm hoping to arrive at Leeds at 2pm so I should be there for the meet and greet:) My name badge will say Carla and I will be staying at the con hotel:)

Yeah I'm nervous too. For the same reason as you.
This is my first trip abroad that I do all alone and not organized by a travel agent.
So I am a bit scared (that something might go wrong or something like that).
Anyway, I better head for bed, see you friday :-).
